Study Shows Property Tax Increase Would Hurt Small Businesses, Kill Jobs

A study by Stephen Frates and Michael Shires at Pepperdine University's Davenport Institute showed that increased property taxes would harm small businesses and cost California 396,345 jobs.

  • Voters have rejected higher property taxes time and again, but the spending lobby in Sacramento keeps trying to raise these taxes to fund even more wasteful spending.
